What is the quality of the string?
As mentioned in the name, GUT-core strings are made of sheep intestines, which is then wound with either aluminum or silver.4, 10 However, they are highly sensitive to climatic changes, which means they can get out of tune fast.4, 10, 11
How does it affect its performance?
Gut-core strings produce rich, warm tones.10,25 However; the downside is that these strings have the slowest response time of the 3 types available.4, 5, 10, 11, 14, 25
